it is so peaceful here 

on kitchen earth today

we have staff haiku time

though none of us knows

the proper measure:

 

over two days two quarts

of yogurt become one—

future lebneh

 

then things go south

less haiku more telegram

 

knife’s edge is sharp

that’s no carrot goddammit

that’s my fingertip send first aid kit
